Series 33/35 Exit Devices

Series 33/35 exit devices ... incorporates contemporary design and durability for the discriminating buyer. Available in rim, surface and concealed vertical rod mountings.

For all types of doors, even door stiles as narrow as 1 3/4".

Finishes include Polished Brass, Dull Brass, Dull Bronze, Polished Chrome, Dull Chrome, Aluminum Anodized and Dark Bronze Anodized.

Devices are UL listed Panic Hardware (FVSR) SA163 (n). Fire devices (F) are UL listed Fire Exit Hardware (GXHX) R4504 (N), A label. Tested in accordance to ANSI A156.3, 1989, Grade 1.

Options And Accessories

Signal Switch
The SS (Signal Switch) feature signals unauthorized use of an opening. One internal switch monitors the touch bar and the latch bolt for positive security. A second internal switch is controlled by the key cylinder for alarm reset. The SS device is designed to work with additional alarm components.

Electric Latch Retraction
The EL (Electric Latch Retraction) devices provide remote locking control, useful where free-swinging doors are normally utilized. May be applied to fire devices when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.

Request To Exit
The RX (Request to Exit) option is used to signal egress of an opening. These devices are equipped with one internal SPDT switch, which monitors the touchbar.

Latchbolt Monitor
The LX (Latchbolt Monitor Switch) option is used to signal both egress and access of an opening. These devices are equipped with one internal SPDT switch, which monitors the latch bolt.

ALK Alarm Kit
Exit Alarm Kits are simple yet effective ways to monitor the use of an exit. The unit contains an internal horn and operates on batteries.

Series 88 exit devices ... a traditional crossbar design with proven service on rugged applications. Available in rim, mortise, surface and concealed vertical rod mountings.

For all types of flush and wide stile doors, and fits 86 and 161 stock hollow metal cutouts.

Options And Accessories

Electric Device - E88
The E88 electric device provides remote unlocking capabilities. A control station operator can flip a switch to lock or unlock the outside trim. The 24 VDC solenoid assembly contains a SPDT signal switch to monitor the outside trim (locked or unlocked).

The trim returns to the locked mode after being operated either by the cylinder or the solenoid. On fail-safe models, the trim will remain unlocked if the solenoid remains energized.

E-7500 Electric Mortise Lock
Electric mortise lock option provides for remote locking or unlocking of the outside trim without retracting the latch bolt. Particularly useful as a fail-safe component of an automatic fire alarm system.

TR7050WVon Duprin e. Primus is the preferred choice for any building where safety, security and access control are prime considerations. The e.Primus System is a hardwired, programmable system that delivers cost effective access control. System features include rapid access authorization changes, audit trails and time functions that allow the system administrator to easily maintain authorization control and security throughout the facility.

With the e.Primus System every electronic key has its own unique serial number. This number cannot be duplicated or compromised, thus maintaining secure control of all access points.

TR7050In addition, the time function feature gives the system administrator the ability to program for automatic unlock and relock operation on specific days and times, for holiday lockouts, automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment and to program keys for automatic activation, expiration and shift periods.

User KeyVon Duprin e.Primus is designed to operate hardwired door hardware such as electrified panic or fire exit hardware, electric strikes, electromagnetic locks, and other electrified locks. A complete system consists of a touch receptor, power supply with controller circuit board, electrified locking device, and, when required, a power transfer. Von Duprin electrified panic and fire exit hardware includes Chexit, EL (electric latch retraction) series 33, 35, 98, 99, and E (electric) series 88, 98 and 99.

Von Duprin e.Primus Touch Receptor Access Control System is fully compatible with all Schlage e.Primus Electric Key Control Systems.

System Elements

The e.Primus system is simple to install and use. To lock or unlock a door, a user simply places the e.Primus key on the touch receptor. Once contact is established, the computer in the power supply scans the electronic key for a unique serial number. If this serial number is authorized, the system operates as requested (to lock or unlock).

Touch Receptor Models: Designed to withstand the toughest of environmental conditions. The touch receptors have been comprehensively tested for extreme temperature, humidity, shock, vibration and electrostatic discharge.

Two touch receptor models are available: TR7050 narrow model (1-3/8" x 4") for surface mounting on 2" door frames, and TR7050W wide style model (2-3/4" x 4-1/2") for wall mounting which includes a backbox and cover plate.

Power Supply: The system is supported by a Series PS873 power supply that includes a control board and a touch receptor board. The power supply can operate from one zone to four zones. Maximum distance from power supply to touch receptor is 30 feet.

Keys: All e.Primus electronic keys have a proprietary computer chip that is contained in a stainless steel cap and mounted in a plastic fob. Each key has a unique serial number, so keys cannot be duplicated.

Sofware: RAPIDKEYTM is the e.Primus key control management software. It is designed to allow the system administrator to configure the database specifically to the needs of the facility. Software features include audit trails, time functions, and a relational database dedicated to maintaining access control within a facility.

The administrator can track all of the users in the facility, add and delete users, and maintain secure authorization control electronically... all from one computer. The RAPIDKEY software runs on user friendly Windows 95/98 and includes a communication cable for use with a laptop computer.

Hardware: Model 1 systems can benefit from the use of a laptop computer, but a computer is not required. Model 2 and Model 3 systems require a laptop computer (Pentium 133 MHz, 32MB RAM, 80MB free hard drive space, CD-ROM, Windows 95/98 OS). Hardware is not included and must be purchased separately.

Accessories

Cable: Touch receptor cable for use between touch receptor and the power supply is available in 30', 150', and 1,000' length. Part numbers: TR7059-30, TR7059-150 or TR7059-1000.

Upgrade Kit: The TR7057 Upgrade Kit is used with Model 1 or Model 2. One kit is required to change a Model 1 to a Model 2 or a Model 2 to a Model 3. Two kits are required to change a Model 1 to a Model 3.

Exterior Backbox: A surface-mounted, single-gang backbox is available for use with TR7050W wide touch receptor. The backbox must be ordered separately, part number TR7012B.
